These photos show some of the steps taken in making the tenons for the Cirrus Hallway Table.
Normally Pete does a lot of the tenon work using the tablesaw and bandsaw and does the final trimming to size with a shoulder plane and chisels, but in the case of making a tenon on the curved apron the use of handsaws is more appropriate.
After the sawing, a little chisel work is needed to smooth the tenon to final width and join the shoulders together nicely.
